Great post that montster, can't argue with that at all. His single achievement in management was winning the Carling Cup once, says it all really. But thinking about it that's more than Moyes has won for us but that's beside the point :P

Thats fair comment Rodders but he had far more to spend than Moyes in club football, inherited a far stronger squad than Moyes and no one has for one second suggested that Moyes becomes England manager, Scotland might be his next stop though! (y)

I remember reading this thread yonks ago, nice one Jim. Anyone wish to add their thoughts after last nights [Poor language removed] showing?

My mate is a big Derby fan, and he said when McClaren was assistant to Jim Smith he used to wait till he was on camera and then chuck down a Lucosade bottle to prove that he had passion. He hated him with a passion.

The last image of this **** though is him standing beneath a brolly. What a ****! And he now says he is a better manager for it. He's not even a manager, he was a coach and whether or not he can be employed by anyone now is the big question.

saf i suspect would have him back, just to help a chum out i suppose.

be great if maclaren was wheeled out for bbc interviews on manures behalf.

I have just realised the BBC might take him on as a pundit. What a catastrophe that would be. Can you imagine having this loser on and questioning another managers tactics or players.
