I was thinking the same - if Yak can occupy Vidic (who can defend) then AJ could expose Ferdinand (who can't).

Back on topic, I cannot see Faddy getting a run in the side as a striker unless Yak or AJ get injured. I would love to see him play in the hole behind the strikers, though, with Cars, jags and Arteta in a 3 man midflield and relying on fullbacks pushing forward for width (plus AJ's runs). Perhaps not against Man U, but when we go to Villa.

Can't see it happening though.

All the yak did was tap it in. We need Aj's pace. Maybe he should start Mac with AJ and if AJ is having a bad game bring on the yak for him.
 
Why has this came all of a sudden?

Just because hes scored 2 goals in 2 games.

AJ is miles better and should never ever be dropped, he contributes so much to the team, way more then Faddy would, i rate Faddy but no way should he be starting before the Yak and AJ.
 

On the plus side most of faddys goals come after 65 mins, so if we do start with AJ or Yak or both he can always come on.

Its three goals in three games if you include the Blackburn goal.

I think he deserves more of a chance and if anyone can score a wonder goal its faddy.

Imagine it 0-0 at 85 minutes and he bangs one in from 30 yards.

i can't see a good reason not to play him when he is in form like this.

macca and the yak with aj ready on the bench to *stretch* the united defense.

Not to be picky but I think the poll should have a 3rd option..."Depends on the formation". If Moyes sticks with 4-4-2, as most expect, I think Yak and AJ should. If he decides to counter Utd's 4-3-3/4-5-1 with 4-5-1 (as Sven did so effectively the other week) then he could squeeze him in on the left of midfield to give us an extra goal threat.
