McFadden Whopper Again.

I must admit, up here in Scotland he has an absolute unreal reputation. At Motherwell he has been hailed as a legend for years, theres a saying by the Moterwell fans: "James McFadden shagged my maw".

But his goal against France has taken him to stratospheric levels of admirtion from Joe Public. The papers are absolutely full of pics/stories/people creaming over him today.
 
I am from Motherwell hence the Faddy/Everton link, been keeping my eye out for yu guys since he moved all those years ago.
 
Shame he's not as prolific as he is for Scotland, or like he was for Motherwell. He used to take free kicks up there too?

My bird is from Fife and is still smiling from last night, the footie that is.
 
Aye, he was vry gung ho at Motherwell did whathe wantd in terms of free play and it usualy came off. He took some free kicks but mostly ripped the pis outta defences nd also scored some stormers.
 

From an admittedly limited amount of TV coverage, it looks to me like defenders inthe SPL are more likely to dive in to tackles forwards, so Faddy could more easily suck them in and beat them. In EPL (or PL, I suppose) defenders will stand off and make him go round them.

Yep. How much could you sell him back for? I want him to do well of course, but If he doesnt step up to the Premier league this year, he's gotta go.

Unless someone offers stupid money I hope we keep him. He still seems to be the only player who can score all by himself and a useful sub. He was only a couple Plus he's been injured alot and played out of postition so we have never really seen what he can do. Besides if he keeps this up for Scotland it may worth keeping just for jersey sales.

Is it just me or is a scotsman buying an Everton shirt because mcfadden plays ok for scotland now and again a far FAR fetched idea?

Had a bit of a chuckle actually.

Mcfadden has to get a run out in the very near future, he is shooting from distance & we do not have a player like that at EFC. If AJ struggles to score then give him a chance!
 
Don't know if ManU is the team to give him wings against though.

He seems to play better in european games.. so why not give him the nod in the UEFA-Cup?
