Cappello/McLaren drops Becks as a 'power' statement to put their mark on the team (Cappello even went as far as saying Becks would never play for Real Madrid again).
Look who the idiots are now. Cappello forced into playing him by the Real Madrid government (who are now talking about trying to keep him), and McLaren, sensing he is about to be sacked brings Becks back who performs, pretty much at his standard, inspires England into two acceptable performances.
