This has p'd me off a bit now. First of all they extended the deadline for entries because they only had 3 videos (one of which was ours), and now they've abandoned the vote when we were winning. :angry:

Well, as you may have guessed from that we didn't win. The bloody scally youth club doing Traore's OG won. That I can just about take (even though I don't think that one's very good) but, we didn't even win a fecking goody bag! They gave one to the Aylesbury duck waddle thing which was just awful. WTF?! How on earth is a bunch of morons having a pile on better than ours?! It's an insult to the effort we put in to trying to create a realistic recreation. It's also an insult to the very good work Simon did on the editing.

But that is the thing that confuses me, surely the vote HAS to have an effect, pointless having a vote that does not matter. Write an e.mail petition of complaint and we will all sign it from this site before you send it, then we can sharpen the competition and shove it up their arse so far it will hurt their shitty teeth.

the vote was on, welts had over 200 votes, the closest rival had about 47

obviously there was a complaint and part way through the 'contract/rules' were changed.

the fact an [Poor language removed] own goal won and a goal against man ure leads me to believe impartiality might have been an issue on the 'panel' of judges.

could be worth writing a little article about it and compare it to competition rigging elsewhere.
