Only thing about that is. All the reasonable people giving Ben a chance have stated midtable is likely for this season. Selling our best player and bringing in gray and Townsend.

Its going to be very weak vaulting they get thier first loss in September, possibly October.

Six songs in the top ten? I totally missed that :blush: I knew Spirits of the Blue was but I wasn't aware about other ones. What songs were they?

I agree. We can get excited about this early wins without going overboard because it is a long season and things can shift from good to bad like it happened to Ancelotti. Although if there is something I would give credit to Benitez already is the change in attitude shown by the players, this season they look ready to fight until the end, unlike the passive, don't give a damn attitude that was shown last year during many second halves. I also liked that even with seconds left to the end of the game Benitez was screaming his lungs out even though the score was 2-0. If there is something that drove nuts about Ancelotti was his subdued posture.

Mid table with a kopite at the helm is unacceptable - are you saying there are no less divisive managers out there who couldnt have got us 10th?

29th September 2020 the top 3 in the I tunes downloads chart

1) Spirit of the blues
2) Theme from Z cars
3) Here we Go

Also in top 10 that day was The Farm Altogether Now, and Forever Everton by various artists was number 2 in the I tunes album charts.

I'm sure about the same time other hits like Singing the Blues also made it into the top 10. Crazy times, but we all know what happened next.

Awesome, thanks for taking the time to search for them. I have not heard other Everton songs besides Spirit of the Blues so I'm going to check these other ones out. Didn't realize Everton had so many hit songs lol

Lol divisive. You and your cohorts are in the overwhelming minority. Ben is a top manager. I would say most the managers we could get would struggle motivating thos side big time. Especially without James. This season is a free hit. Let Ben get a few more windows and a few more boss shrewed signings. See what he can do in 2 or 3 seasons. Midtable is decent. Anything else is fantastic.
