(Only joking, my mrs is going through this right now and has been for the past 3 years, it’s awful for her at times)

I can assure you that husbands also "go through" the female menopause. It's not only females that suffer. It's a universal phenomenon.

And despite what the media say (Radio 4) people do already know about it!

HRT is pretty much ok for most women too, bar those with strong histories of hormone dependent breast cancer. Generally I'd be happy for most to be on it till 60, then review risks again (blood clots, heart disease, breast cancer). Transdermal HRT, or topical estrogen and a mirena confer no addition risk of blood clots.

A girl I know uses a HRT patch on her leg. She recently went back as the first brand wasn’t helping much and the alternative provided by the NHS is much better.

I had a very quick menopause as it was bought on rapidly because of chemo for breast cancer. I had a few physical things like hot sweats, joint pain but fortunately no mental problems. I refuse to acknowledge any sort of illness though so will be at death's door before admitting to anything

Ones Pre. Very dangerous at this age. Beware. Then you've got one almost there, again dangerous. Then one post. Man extremely dangerous. I've ever got Granddaughters learning the dark arts! I tried joining the Foreign Legion, just off to Ukraine now, much safer there!
