I’m limiting the football threads I read / reply to these days , so many are full of toxic comments blaming whatever, even from normally sensible posters .
We‘re off on a city break to Rotterdam tomorrow, our first foreign adventure for 3 or 4 years, I’m going to ( mostly) avoid all things Everton. We have a missing kitten at the moment though which is a bit worrying.

Oh I hope the kitten turns up soon.

I love Rotterdam. My best mate is Dutch and we often visit and watch his team Sparta Rotterdam.

Some great bars and restuarants. If you like live music and a bit of jazz check out Dizzy's and if Mrs BL fancies a facial treatment I can recommend "Essie darling " - mates wife owns it ! Have a great time.

Sounds like a fab day (except for the accident ), and it’s so disappointing when a sausage doesn’t live up to expectations . Your granddaughter‘s hair is beautiful, I’ve been lucky to inherit my mum’s blonde hair but when I was a little girl my best friend Christine had hair like your granddaughter’s and I thought it was so beautiful- these days I’ll indulge myself with a nod to strawberry when I go to the hairdresser. I don’t know why redheads get such a bad time it’s my favourite hair colour.

Good morning all. Mr F has tested positive for COVID this morning so he's a poorly boy - headache, cough, temperature.
I hope your kitten comes home @blueloon. Could she have accidentally been locked in somewhere? Seems like you had a lovely day @Gwladysover. My daughter has the most gorgeous ginger hair. She keeps dying it blonde though but at the moment she's in a ginger phase.
The sun is out today but there are some ominous looking clouds around.

Thanks. I’ve only been on business previously, certainly Rotterdam’s restaurants are good, I didn’t realise there were 3 teams from the City playing in the Eredivisie.

Thanks , yes it’s Gertie the Torty that’s missing, ultra friendly,wanders into neighbours houses , so been asking neighbours to check sheds etc.

Morning guys. In Reykjavik today and in port overnight. Robs booked a hire car so going sightseeing this afternoon. Having a few round for drinks on my nice balcony later which should be fun. My new drinking buddy Mark keeps introducing me to everybody as Everton Al because he reckons I'm the only Evertonian on the boat

I’ve been meaning to post this photo for days. Our garden is much small compared to others on here and higgeldy piggly in that we often “ find a space “ somewhere for something we like. My favourite plants in it are the “ Everlasting Sweet Peas” , grow rapidly in summer with lots of flowers. This one every year grows from the side of the Buddleia, up through the branches to about 10feet tall. It always gladdens my heart

I think it's rampant on board (covid I mean). Lots of people coughing including Rob and Michelle. I think excessive alcohol must be a antidote as so far I've been fine.

We had two girls and when young went missing for up to a week ,as they got older we spotted there hideouts , they might have been there just watching us earlier .So have a good scout around as they like to watch us making a fool of ourselves .Good luck .
