Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

I did manage a painting session or two
This is a portrait of my daughter’s father in law for his 80 birthday … a few hours short of complete but you get the idea View attachment 226992
Very good, thats a nice talent you have. I do find painting relaxing and the views from my garden certainly help the painting vibe, but I missed a good opportunity to paint in the last week , just have to catch up I guess …….that fence is not going to paint itself 😉

Music lists…one of mine on YouTube….Ricky Medlocke is the spitting image of a mate of mine…..

Was a massive fan of Skynyrd growing up and saw them at The Empire a couple of months before the crash. Have to confess though that I'd never heard of Rickey Medlocke and had to google him.

Can I just add that your barmaid lookalike is a lot easier on the eye than old Rickey. ;)

When are you hoping to do the Caribbean Fred?

Any news on Gerty?
Thanks , but sadly no , Gertie is still missing . I’ve been out running around neighbourhood and miles beyond trying to spot her but no luck. We’re suspecting someone may have taken her in as she’s so friendly. Our other kitten , her sister Bessie, is fine but Mrs b thinks it’s not right having her on her own without feline company so moves to increase the family are afoot, balanced by not giving up on Gertie and not wanting to appear insensitive. Some way away but will keep you informed .

Good afternoon all. Last week in work before the hols. Very excited. My car has just failed its MOT, not too badly though- needs a couple of new tyres and the headlights adjusting. So be thankful for small mercies.
Not much else to tell you about other than Mr F managed to set the wheelie bin on fire by putting the used coal from our barbecue in it! This was yesterday morning. I noticed when I looked out of the window and saw smoke coming out of the bin. It hadn't properly caught light so the watering can was enough to sort it. What a divvy!
Sorry Gerty hasn't come back @blueloon . Welcome home @jazzy and have a great time @Gwladysover .
