Not going to reply individually but just wanted to thank you all for the messages of support for tomorrow. Going out for lunch with the neighbours to the pub in the next village. Somewhere Cal and I went to all the time so it seems appropriate really.

Pretty certain I wouldn't be able to cope as well as I do without you guys.

First of all my heart goes out to you @Barnfred 55 ,as a friend I know what today will mean ,from seeing the places Cal worked and her bench I know what you are missing .As much as we are all here for you I know you wretch at the thought of doing things without Cal ,that there isn't a minute that you are not reminded of her . All my kindest wishes go out to you mate .
Enjoy your day and be with friends who knew her and miss her too .Visit a place you both loved to help you get close to your lovely Cal , stay strong that man .

Good morning all on the soon to be rainy day here in Hyvinkää .I hope you all slept a little easier now the blues are just a point behind Chelsea . Lots to do with that side but a win is a win .A mention to Jarrad Branthwaite ,rumours were that Utd and them had been scouting him and you can see why .He is one those plyers that seem to have a little more time than the others and he has come on leaps and bounds . Have a great day and let's go for the perfect weekend and them to lose .
I hope all went well for @Val P 's son and his new wife and they got good weather and live a happy fulfilled life together .

Hi everybody. We moved today. We are now on Tinos which is utterly beautiful. So pretty. Our hotel is on the beach, we've just had dinner at a beach front taverna - two starters, two mains and two beers €43. We also got free soup, a free dessert and a free brandy to finish off.
The six hours we spent on Mykonos were dire. Three cruise ships were in, it was rammed. Also very expensive. One place wanted €20 for a cheese and ham toastie. Here's a few picsView attachment 228807

Mykonos used to be lovely , you just have to get out of the main town.
I'm really, really jealous though. Mrs J wants full details of the itinerary when you get home , apparently we are copying you next year lol

Mrs J sneaked off early to collect Susie dog her sisters pooch whilst she goes to Scotland for a few days.

Going to be confusing as we have Susie cat who has now moved in with mum.

Rosie and Tintin are completely indifferent to Susie dog but having 3 dogs in the house will be fun .

Everton got a win. Who'd have thought it. Actually a very good performance, we just need to follow that up with two home wins and then we can settle a bit.

Did loads of gardening yesterday so I think today will be restful. Bit of yoga this am and taking mum for her flu and COVID jabs pm.

Morning all, cloudy skies here today with a bit of rain forecast for later. We had planned to help daughter put wood preserver on her new summerhouse but looks as though that will be put off until tomorrow now, might just have a lazy day instead as we are on school run duty this week which means early starts.
Great result yesterday, had almost forgotten what winning feels like. A two goal cushion still didn’t stop me panicking towards the end though.
Good luck with the dogs @jazzy . Minnie, grandaughter’s dachshund, has started thinking her toy is her baby, whimpering and cuddling it. Quite comical to see her but the vet said she should stop when she’s spayed in a couple of weeks.
Hope the wedding went well and the hangover isn’t too bad, @Val P .

Good evening everyone and thank you all so much for you good wishes, I am very touched by your kindness. I had probably the best day of my life and I am full of love and pride right now - maybe even still a bit tipsy who knows . The weather was fab, and the day was perfect. Obviously the three points was a huge bonus and there were quite a few mobile phones on during the meal and we were kept fully briefed. I hope you don’t mind me sharing a couple of pics with you . The second one is me, my hub in the middle and our friend who has sat next to me at Goodison for at least 20 years. Yes I am carrying my shoes but I managed the offertory without breaking my neck

Hi all. It's been hot hot hot here today. We did go into town for a look round. It did not disappointed. Lazed round on the beach all afternoon and had another fab meal at the taverna attached to the hotel.Y
