Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Agreed. I am particularly interested in how DCL will play as I think pressure has affected him a lot this season but tonight he should not feel it as much, but I imagine you always feel under pressure to score if you’re a striker.
He played such a key role in saving us that it’ll be nice to see him enjoying himself tonight. Hope he signs a new deal soon.

Bloody hell mate I'm not a complete dinosaur lol

I don't mind autotune when it's used to create a different sound effect, like on a track or two from an album. But I wonder sometimes if it's just used to enhance/camouflage poor vocals when it's used all the time. The concept has been around for years, albeit using a different technology. Groups like Kraftwerk and Tangerine Dream were putting vocals through their synths back in the 70s.

That one was OK. reminded me a bit of this artist. Not sure if you've come across her before.

Ha, I didn't mean you in general just a lot of people turn their nose up at it, yet they have no problem with effect pedals on guitars but you summed it up well above

Nah I've not heard of her so I'll check her out. I kind of like a lot of music that sounds from the future, but also old

I got this book recently, and it's excellent

And again, talks about what you mentioned above

Good morning all on this fine day ,I hope all are well and had a lovely kip .A bit of a challenge today as we have to change our tyres for the summer for heavier work .So it is the better half on the jackand me at her mercy doing the nuts up..I love this thread but the last few pages on music have been like another language ,i can see the difference in the average age and mine .I do though enjoy finding out about some but others are completely alien ,that is what music is about .Have a great day all.
I wonnder we are going with players ? there is an article in the Echo saying we could lose up to 14 players this summer ,which is a stretch but 8/9 a reality .I for one would not want to keep Harrison as I can see why he has been moved on by so many teams ,he has very little end product .Ali will go and Danjuma back the far beyond .Interesting times when we have no one at the helm and our pockets have holes in them .
I also read spitter's piece interviewing DDB ,how he realised that Moshiri had been taken for a ride by agents and players alike .Shame really as we all had such grand ideas and now look at us ,at least we are safe for the foreseeable .
Have a great day all COYB

My best intentions of having the garden weeded and tidied up before breakfast have been scuppered by rain. There wasn’t even meant to be any rain.

Not to be undone, waterproofs shall be dragged out of the cupboard and I’ll still get a walk in before coffee and catching up with the papers (3 days behind).

I like a day without too many plans.
Yep the rain has scuppered my plans too AT.

Intended to watch my village cricket team in their opening fixture but it's pissing down.

Ah well , a good book and the IPL instead I guess.

It’s going to be a very busy summer for Everton player trading wise. With so many going, Dyche is going to have work wonders with loans and whatever pittance he gets from the same of Onana and Branthwaite. Not all doom and gloom though as he has shown he has the nous to keep us up.

Hopefully the biggest transfer of all goes through early - the sale of the club itself into non 777 hands.

Not many big spenders would be interested in a serial struggler even with a new stadium. Knowing our luck it'll be someone from China three months before an invasion of Taiwan.
