Welcome back Wayne
As you know there isn't much "modern" music that does much for me. So far as female singers are concerned I like a bit of Zara McFarland, Melody Gardot and Lianne le Havas but that's about it.
Nope, not a clue…..

They def had cameras inside and it was remarked on how expensive it was. They did also say that the Guinness they had in Dublin was nothing like what you get here.Is the webcam out on the street itself? I don’t know this one.
Irish people tend to avoid Temple Bar area as we can’t afford it

You are right but it does taste better in Dublin, from my days working behind he bar I remember the head barman saying most bad pints of Guinness are down to it needing a different cellar temperature to other tap beers .It’s more expensive to begin with. We employ an Irish girl from Dublin and tbf she said same as you Val and she drinks Guinness as a matter of course. However last week I had the complete cellar Guinness kit changed out by Diageo and replaced with new, and bearing in mind all U.K. Guinness is brewed in Dublin anyway, I found a slight improvement in taste but nothing that most people would even notice. It’s just one of those things that gets into peoples heads, in Dublin, pub ambience, Irish accents etc, therefore it must be better. But it’s exactly the same beer in the U.K. from the exact same brewery in Dublin.
Happy anniversary to Mr and Mrs Jazzy, enjoy your celebrations
What a memory!

The taste is all about the freshness of the beer and the correct way of pulling the pint itself. Nothing worse than a Guinness that has been lying in the pipes or indeed a gassy drink poured as if it’s a lager. It’s more expensive to begin with. Congratulations to you and Mrs J. A remarkable achievement and one that deserves to be celebrated with much wine and gusto.Morning everyone,
Thanks to @Gwladysover and @Val P for their kind wishes. I'm truly amazed at Gs memory.
36 years ago tomorrow we got hitched and then went to Rhodes for our honeymoon . When I think back on that day with fond memories I wonder where on earth all the years have gone.
It was genuinely a lovely day . We deliberately only had a very small wedding with just close family invited ( we didn't have much money and wanted to spend what little we had on a honeymoon!) and had a really nice meal in a local pub and went straight to the airport afterwards.
Pretty much replicate that with a simple meal in our local Italian tomorrow.
Have a lovely day everyone.
