Good morning all on this lovely day here .I hope all are well and had a good night's sleep . We watched "Adolescence " not a bad actor for a kirkby lad is Stephen and the young lad looks to have promise . I don't know why but I don't enjoy watching Tremarco ,I used to work with a joiner with that surname and great lad he was too ,one of my best mentors.

My plan is to start watching Adolescence this week as it does look good. Anything Stephen Graham is in is good really. What a shame he is a Kopite though.

I began my morning by reading a BBC article on tourists groping the Molly Malone statue in Dublin. Apparently it is considered good luck to touch her breasts and is in fact encouraged by some tour operators. The result now is that Ms Malone’s bosom is now a different hew to the rest of the statue and this is prompting calls for relocation to a plinth.

It is a very strange world we live in.

There is some similar statues in China of people who brought shame to the country and folks slap them, spit and hit them either a shoe.

That reminds me of the crowd beating Sadam Hussein’s statue with shoes. It must be a cultural thing :lol:

Hi folks. Very frosty morning here. Minus 4 according to my car temp. I took Mr F to work and then went to the gym and also for a swim. I'm worn out

. I'm meeting some of my work mates for lunch which will be nice.
The house is coming along nicely, the decorator is really cracking on with it.
I'm also going to visit daughter after lunch - I've been formally invited for a coffee!
Here's a couple of pics of a very frosty Riverside (Durhan's cricket ground) this morning. The gym I go to is in the ground.

I saw this the other day, the bloke pops up on my feed every now and again due to the football stuff I follow.

Yeah because shoes are worn to walk the streets picking up all kinds of shoite in some countries , Iran/ Iraq etc, people will throw them at officials like Judges in protest .
