Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Mate, I did scrambled eggs in it the other day and they were excellent, even if I do say so myself.

And I've just taken a portion of the vegan lasagne out of the freezer to defrost and have every intention of also giving it the nuke treatment later. ;)

Scrambled eggs out the microwave is a totally different experience it makes far less mess than out the pan.

At least with it being vegan lasagne you don't have to worry about making sure you cook the meat as that is the dangerous part.

I'm going shopping with my sister later so hopefully I get some nice things in to eat. Normally I go on my own but I feel like need the extra support. I'll push the trolley as it gives me extra support and I will feel like I did it myself.

Morning Messy sending best wishes as always. My day ended in spectacular fashion yesterday. Lovely evening so decided to walk to retail park to collect parcel instead of driving. On the way home next thing I know pavement is rising up to meet me and husband asking me if I’m okay. Nothing broken fortunately but bled for England so must have looked quite a sight walking home. Two people at bus stop and one bloke walked by, no one stopped to help. Now look as though I’ve done 10 rounds with Tyson Fury, split lip and chin. You’ve got to laugh except I can’t it hurts too much?. Take it easy.?
That's not good. Hope youre OK and not too duffed up. Shame on those who walked past you, karma will see to them eventually.

Good evening @messymascot

I hope your shopping went well and you got some yummy soup and some other good things to eat. I also really enjoy tomato or tomato/red pepper soups, well all soups tbh. In Colombia we ate soup almost every day for lunch, my husband thinks we were crazy given the hot weather lol

Just off to nuke my vegan lasagne before the match starts. Hope it's fully defrosted. ;)

Hope you're feeling well Karl, did you enjoy your shopping trip?

Go 'ead Messy lad, you are an inspiration mate,I come in thinking I've had a rubbish day, then count my blessings and think really it was great:)

Night night Messy. Sweet Dreams.?

Shopping trip was disaster as I had completed mental block and couldn't think of anything to buy. I even forgot the soup. My sister tried helping but I think my anxiety of going out made my mind fall to pieces. The only thing I got pretty much were fish fingers and bread. Luckily I love fish finger sandwiches. Also my good friend is coming tomorrow and he is going to take me shopping again and I've jotted a few things down. SOUP is a must and I'm going to get some jelly as well. I managed to remember lucozade which should help with energy and I bought 2 melons as it is one of the few fruits I'm allowed. Luckily I like it. I've lost some of my favourites like grapes which I would need to peel also strawberries and Kiwi because they have seeds. I like to keep you updated but its nice to hear about your days as well. I've worked in an office for a long time and there is no better feeling than helping someone with their problems. Now there is so much home working it's meant it's harder to be there for folks. Helping others takes your mind off your own problems so is therapeutic. I hope this thread continues as a way of talking each other through problems. Not Depression or Mental Health as we already have an amazing thread for that but if someone wants to bounce an idea about general life come in here get 2nd opinion about it. Love you all nearly as much as I love Everton and that is a lot. They have disappointed me more than you lot ever could also. I'll type some more in the morning hopefully it will not be as long winded.
