It's actually quite interesting that Snidey disappeared around the same time that you came back. It's almost like Superman and Clark Kent.

It's turned into a beautifully sunny day down here again. A bit cold but the wind isn't as strong as yesterday. It rained overnight which will keep the farmers happy but hardly a cloud in the sky now. Might get out for a walk later if it stays this way. My brother in law was saying that it snowed on the Wirral last night.

Having smoked mackerel salad for lunch and am cooking my Chinese fried rice with hot and spicy chicken tonight. One of my faves. Lot's of prepping but worth it.

Hello dear friends, happy Friday! OMG what a busy week it has been for me. Been having lots to do as I was finalizing my advising job, so I had to finish training my replacement and switching over all my student files over for her. I also had to do a disk cleanup on my laptop to make sure I had removed all of my sexy pictures stored there, as the last thing I needed was IT or the next laptop owner finding those lol Today is my first day working just in my recruiter job and I am so ready for it, the past month was super overwhelming doing both tasks but I'm glad I was able to assist my old department instead of leaving them on the weeds. Yesterday I had a final meeting with my group of coworkers, earlier in the day they had sent me a flower bouquet and a card wishing me well with the sweetest message that made me tear for a bit. So it was bittersweet saying goodbye to this group of coworkers who I have worked so well for so many years and who I consider good friends, but I'm also really loving my new job and this new role with the College so I'm very happy to be moving forward too.

It seems you all, unlike me, have been very productive with your postings and your conversations so I hope to catch up with everything that has been happening with you all throughout the day.

Such a lovely sewing work, you are very talented @blue1948 I'm not sure if I had mentioned that I also like sewing. My maternal grandma taught me how to do so when I was a child and I've always enjoy it but I'm not as good as you. In recent years all the sewing I do is for my daughter. For St. Patrick's Day I made her this crop top. I also dyed it and added the gems.



Here is a pic of her wearing it.



When she was little I used to make her dresses but now her style is changing as she is approaching teenager years. This dress was one of my masterpieces lol

Happy April Fools day everyone. Missing Cal this morning. I was always thinking up new pranks to play on her.

I'm sure dates like this one must bring lots of memories. How did Cal felt about your pranks, did she find them funny or would she get mad at you about them?

My daughter loves to do pranks and she was anxiously waiting for today's tricks. I didn't get to witness the first one she did on my hubby this morning as I was already at the gym. But he said that when he woke up he had to go to the bathroom very bad only to find that my daughter had wrap up all the toilet with plastic wrap and it took him a bit to free the toile and his pee ??
