I use a net in the river ,I have just been to check it is "open" because it was frozen over .Now the snow is melting fast and it is ready for the fishnet if I can wade through the snow on the ground as i went on a snowmobile .We do fish with a line in the lake but that is stilla way off being open .

There were actually guys in work, younger than me I may add, who were convinced I was on the Grecian. They couldn't believe I wasn't either losing my hair or turning grey, one of which usually afflicts most males in their 50s. And that was 10 years ago.

My husband and I used to have a blue 1965 Karmann Ghia after we got married. We are dealing with a very cloudy day this morning so there may not be much of sun bathing today. But there is a crab festival in town that we are thinking of going. Yesterday afternoon we went to town and ended up exploring Beaufort, one of the old cities of the Deep South (meaning lots of slavery history), well known for its an antebellum mansions. For those who enjoy architecture here some pics of our outing. The neighborhood we explored was part of the historic district and it was truly lovely. The mansions were impressive, but even more impressive were the huge live oak trees surrounding them. I couldn’t helped hugging a few of them ?
