he wouldn't have been at the top of my list, although i admitted i'd never seen that much of him. But then i found out he was 6 ft 3 and rapid, so that kind of changed my opinion of what i expected of him. There's no doubting that their home form was insane last season, and although ours was great too, he has all the attributes of what i wanted from a main centre back. I really like the look of that lemos as well, and although i wanted us to buy a bit more experience throughout the squad, buying players of this age range means that we can just go into future windows allowing ourselves to smack £80m on two players etc.

No qualms here with our business so far.

He wouldn't be my first choice either but premier league experience, height and pace is just what we need so more than happy. Just hope we get someone in to partner him!
