Apart from his ball playing deficiencies, I find that for a big lad, he is poor in the air. He doesnt seem to be able to gauge his jump consistently and either doesnt jump at all, or does but too late. Alarming for a central defender.

...I really don’t see him as a backs to the wall defender. Jagielka and Carragher would put their bodies on the line to defend, I don’t see Keane as that type.

He’s less exposed sitting deep because there’s less space to exploit behind him. He’s just a lucky boy to be playing in this era of the game.

Not sure but always remember a little arl woman who did it in Paddock for years...she's not there anymore unfortunately. She probably swerved when Allerdyce took over.
