Another player massively overrated by Evertonians. He’s probably at a similar level to what Jags was about 2 seasons ago. That’s a 35 year old Jagielka post cruciate ligament injury. The Jagielka and Lescott partnership of 07/08 was an absolute world above Keane’s level and any of Yobo Distin Heitinga or Stones in peak form was better than this lad.

I mentioned (last month) talking to somebody at the club who said they think he’s mentally weak and needs to be talked to all the time. I fear this means he’s fine as long as things are going his way, but that is a frailty for somebody in that position.

Against Lincoln he just wasn’t up for a battle with their CF, he does lack competitiveness and spirit.

This, That England mistake has completely blown him. He's a stop gap for now, He's okay to do a job but ideally we'd replace him because he's not consistent and has too many mistakes in him but due to the whole team being absolute garbage other places were priority.

He is good on the ball. Very underrated actually when it comes to playing out from the back, control and touch etc.

Don't rate him as a defender personally though.
