He’s got it in him to play with confidence, just when the team plays poor, he plays poor. Good defenders always step up in times of trouble, confidence players play to how the team plays

He's a very limited defender, but plays well when we drop into two banks of four. I don't see much of a future for him here, but he did play well today.

Surely a cb should be judged on his defensive attributes, I personally don’t want us playing out from the back never have and never will, if big dunc stays I think he’l keep us playing direct football not the suicidal tika taka teams try all the time

It's not so much that but when the ball comes to him instead of playing a long ball he will just smack it waist high into someone and it just causes serious pressure

I don't particularly think he's a great defender either, caught sleeping too much always lets his man go

Present tactics suit him. They are very Burnley like. He's in his comfort zone now. Should be decent as long as we play this style.

Not his biggest fan but he was boss today. Again showing Silvas stubborness. Keane and Mina are decent low block defenders so he played a high line with them every game.

Before anyone goes crazy the style we are playing is the simplest way to play for CBs. Just take that into account.

I would credit the defence as a unit today. It was brave to hold such a high line against such a fast counter-attacking team, but credit to them all. Defended well, the midfield also protected them well. Very good all round.

Like most of the team, his game has improved overnight since Ferguson took the reins.

Arguably our best player yesterday. Countless blocks, tackles and clearances.

Really looked like he had it all under control. Against their quick forwards I was expecting the opposite.

Holgate did loads of shielding work yesterday, which took the pressure off him.

We should be looking to get shut at the first opportunity, as the Premier League is all about pace and that`s the thing that Keane can`t cope with the most.
