Mina leaves a clearance at the top of the box every other start and Godfrey concedes a lot of chances through poor positioning but he's still the shiny new toy and tackles hard so it is largely overlooked.Mina and Godfrey for me anyway. Holgate is worse than Keane for mistakes.
Our record with Mina versus without speaks for itself and I've seen Keane concede more chances than Godfrey, shiny new toy or not. He doesn't just tackle hard, he also doesn't get turned easily and skipped past. Keane is decent, but for his style of CB I prefer Mina and for Holgate's style I prefer Godfrey. The fact that between both Keane and Holgate they didn't seem to agree that because Adams was winning every header against Holgate, and Armstrong was spinning Keane they should swap also bothered me a lot. That happened far too much for my liking. The front line saved them from conceding more imoMina leaves a clearance at the top of the box every other start and Godfrey concedes a lot of chances through poor positioning but he's still the shiny new toy and tackles hard so it is largely overlooked.
God no mate, I do say the same about all of them but he's the senior centre back, I think him and Holgate especially are clanger prone but I agree we need one who has minimal mistakes in him as our keeper also can join that party on occasion.People say this like he's the only one of our central defenders with a mistake in them.
They all do. Mina and Holgate are both prone to them too.
