Agree with Eggs and posted several times...Godfrey covered Keane many times up until Gordon went off.

After that it was zonal marking and a capitulation throughout the team defensively.

Its no coincidence that Keane gave away alot of chances in the first few games and was at it again today.

last week people said he was motm despite antonio having a field day holding the ball up.

Mina plus one of those two and move Godfrey to right back with Coleman and Keane punted.

Holgate has decent games then makes one error (normally when in a back 3, or playing with Keane) and he’s slammed into the reserves for months. Keane is playing through balls to opposition strikers and starts every game.

I like Holgate. No idea why he wasnt sold in the summer if Benitez prefers Keane to him.

I like the idea of Godfrey + Holgate either side of Mina in a 3. Problem is that neither is left footed and Branthwaite didnt look good in a 3 in the cup before.

For me, I would stick With Godfrey + Mina as CBs and play Holgate next to Allan at DM.

Keane ive been done with for a long time. I see nothing in him at all...no ability, no attitude, no athleticism, no physicality, no leadership.

Rondon would give Keane a game.
 
Haha, that 4th goal especially. Both him and Godfrey were comical. Awful awful players.

Play Holgate and Mina for the foreseeable, and buy one more elite CB. Branthwaite should also be in the mix.

Seeing a lot of stick aimed at him for getting sent the shop by King for the fourth (maybe?), but on the 6 yard line you’ve got to dive in like that. And it was a great ball for Richarlison’s goal.

But yeah. That was not great.
 

Said it the other day, but he epitomises Moshiri's Everton for me.

Bog-standard stopper, capable of doing well in a very deep line, but a sitting duck if asked to take one step out of his comfort zone.

If he's one of your regulars, you're not a good team.
 
Fraud for me can look good but is at an age now when we need him to deliver and be consistent. Look so far away from the defence we had in the past
