It wouldn’t surprise me in the least if they were offered 12 months on similar terms because we’ll need numbers and both are settled at the club, Doucoure still a regular.

There's no way we can afford to pay Keane and Doucoure £100 k a week for another year. With signing on fees for all of our renewals or any frees plus transfer fees for anyone we sign we would fail psr

for me I can’t imagine one of the most experienced premier league managers in history chose a tactic because a reporter asked a question. for me it feels more likely that he watched his squad train over a number of weeks and felt Keane upfront for 5 mins was the best of a bad bunch .
