IF Jags was happy to go there then it would make sense for all parties.
Burnley have a good solid foundation to build from, especially if they add Robinson from Hull too.
Getting a solid veteran defender and £20m+ would help them to cement their place in the league.
I do not see them getting dragged into a relegation scrap, they have too big a cushion.

Everyone seems to be raving about this lad. Embarrassingly I haven't watched him at all. How would people rate him in comparison to Williams?

He'd be the best CB at the club. He's young obviously but he's big and strong, a great tackler and reads the game well, always in the right place as it were. He's good in the opposition box too. He's an old fashioned centre half, not one to come out with the ball but is very solid at the back.
Chelsea have been interested for a while apparently. I've watched him quite a bit, him and VvD are the best two potentially available centre halves in the Prem.
