Benteke was equally as much of a gamble in regards to him being "unknown and untested in England." He was £7m and had a similar strike rate in Belgium. (Note: Benteke is also 3 years older.)

Though I heard through the grapevine that Arsenal have agreed a 6.6m fee for him and that he'll be loaned back to Standard.

Benteke did it for Genk, whilst Batshuayi is playing for Standard Liege so that stat, as useful as it is a bit skewed into how good Benteke was/is.
