Middle management is not the elephant in the room. It's not rocket science understanding the culture of the middle manager you just need to push the needle. Let me just run this idea up the flagpole. We need our middle managers to get all our ducks in a row and enable us to hit the ground running. Without them we would end up behind the curve and unprepared for the next paradigm shift. So next time you touch base with these blue sky thinkers show them some love and be a mentor.

middle managers drive 'Bavarian Cortinas' cos they think the badge on them shows prestige, then they go andhang a r/s airfreshener on the mirror. they live beyond their means to look like they are considerably richer than yow, their wives refer to everyone as hun, you ask what they do and the only answer you get is that they are in charge, without any explanation of what they actually do. i've been made redundant too many times as a shop floor worker whilst the middle manager seems to go missing whilst it all takes place, cant show his face cos he knows that it should be him instead of the lads he supervises.

i've had a couple of good bosses, but the majority have been absolute tossers.
my boss now is the best ever, everyone thinks he's ace & he never talks shoite.
