Migrant Crisis

I'm not attach myself to the right or left wing. Ok, I don't care about them, but I do care about us. And I'll never be in need because I've had the foresite to plan for any eventuality. It's called acting responsible.
and you clearly haven't even catered for a handful of strangers landing on a piece of land you also live on, or you wouldn't be so scared, so exactly how prepared are you for anything else. floods? earthquakes? the whole financial system collapsing?

That's all very sweet and I'm sure you sleep well at night. Personally I'd rather protect the hard work this country/continent has achieved over the last millennium.
And yet you errode the building blocks of tolerance, integration and hospitality, upon which the UK is built. You keep protecting fella. And when you look back on your life in years to come I hope you are proud of your achievements.

And remember if you leave a legacy through descendents, one day it could be them asking for protection.

How about because it's a decent and humane thing to do.

"Our contribution to the humanitarian effort in camps in Syria and neighbouring countries (where they are kept safe, without having to make perilous journeys to Europe) stands at £922million –

This is £300million greater than any other country in the EU, with Germany (£622m) next on the list. Next comes Norway (£170m), Holland (£126m), Switzerland (£112m), Sweden (£106m), Denmark (£92.5m), France (£69m), Italy (£63m) and Belgium (£31.5m)."

It seems we are already doing more than our bit, yet it's Austria (who only gave £8.8m) shouting that we are not showing solidarity.....perhaps if they had all contributed at the same level as the UK there would not be a migrant crisis......

The EU will soon collapse. Eurosceptic parties across the EU are on the rise. Accepting millions of these migrants will be the tipping point.
they are all coming to get you. not us. just you. and if it means I stay safe then you are going to have to be sacrificed. sorry about that. common sense.
