When you buy a product that uses refills (yes Mach III razor, looking at you) the refils they provide...even the brand name ones...are not as good a product as the original they sold you / sucked you in with.

Tracksuits at £200+ are just idiculous. They look poor and are just priced for the gullible.
I think the sign of you actually growing up, is realising the £20 t-shirt from M&S is just as good quality, if not better than the £100 top from god knows what names brand from JD's

I do think "Fashion" is just generally an experiment in to seeing how much money can be fleeced from the gullible.

Not necessarily. Some cheap stuff is garbage, some is fine for purpose. A lot of expensive stuff is literally paying for the logo - the quality is pretty mediocre in a lot of cases.
