Came home last night pissed, I brought a 12" pizza home and had a couple of slices and fell asleep on the couch with the pizza box on my chest.

Next thing the dog wakes me up by launching itself at the pizza and makes off with 3/4 of it in his mouth.

Must have ate the whole thing in a matter of seconds.

When my kids put an empty packet back in the cupboard after taking the last one from a multi-pack crisps Kit-kats etc...

*opens cupboard sees something i like then realize its empty
*Shouts kids into the kitchen

...that's an old one JLW. I always start with ellipses because it's a continuation of a conversation. I notice a few do it nowadays. The only time I start without ellipses is on the rare occasion I start a thread.

...folk correcting other posters spelling mistakes on this site. As long as folk make themselves understood it's fine with me if they say 'your instead of you're' or 'there instead of their'. You don't know the academic problems some people have with dislexia and the likes or even an unfortunate upbringing.
