how long you had it ?? trust me . it will just disaapear after around 9 months... no consolation if yoive only had it one or 2 months but mine was horrendous and the doc said , it will go as quick as it came after about 9 months and it duely did.

Yes, but there's been a particular fad about it over the last couple of years where it is incessant, and irritating. I think it's come from academia - and, I'm guessing now, if it's like so many other irritating speech affectations, I blame the US.

'So, are you sitting comfortably?'...when was the first time you heard that, last week? last month? 3 months ago? last year? last century?

It's always been there, you've just had it brought to your attention and are noticing it more.

2 days in a row I've had 40 minutes added to my journey because of a broken down car on the A406.

How far is the school? Could you not walk to school, then walk home and then drive to work? Even if that takes 30 mins too, at least you and the kids will get some exercise out of it.

The way people park and drive around them is shameful.

Parking across driveways, on corners, speeding, as they somehow can't get out of the house five minutes earlier.
