minor things that make you fume

Leaving a dual carriage way onto a 12 mile country road, seconds after a suzuki swift, which is ahead of me all the way, taking all the same turnings I have to take, doing a rock solid 35mph on a 60 road in dry conditions and driving in a style that always seems to be slowing down, yet somehow still being 35 and stopping me getting into an economical top gear.

And no overtaking opportunities because, of course, the sparse oncoming traffic is choreographed* to coincide with any long straights.

If I'd set off only 1 minute earlier.....

*I'd love to know who does this to me. It'll be the same team that gets a cyclist in front of me on an empty road as I reach a bend, with the first oncoming car in 20 minutes.

The one I love the most is when they do 30 in a 40mph section, then it changes to 50mph and they up their speed to 40. So you were fine to do 40 after all, so why didn't you did it before! And why won't you do 50 ffs!
 

Just got a message from kids school warning about a game called Blue Whale.
Kids self harm for 50 days and top themselves on the last day.
What the actual hell is this all about ?

Really ? What's going on here ffs.

Did the school really describe it as a 'game'?!

The head at my wife's school has informed parents their kids are not to watch 13 Reasons Why, cos a kid at a nearby school killed themselves. Haven't watched it yet, but it sounds like it's what every kid SHOULD be watching.

"Hampshire’s Safeguarding Children’s Board (HSCB) have made schools aware of an on line ‘game’ (Blue Whale) which encourages young people to self harm for 50 days and then take their life by suicide on the last day. There has been indication that this game has been online internationally and may have been a factor in the deaths of a number of young people. Fortunately, to date, HSCB are not aware of any suicides or deaths of children in Hampshire, or the UK, linked to this game."
Thats the quote from the start of the email mate.

Just reading about it now, suggestions are that it doesn't actually exist. Like The White Lady or Purple Aki...

tbh it's good that the school are getting word out to nip it in the bud. Real or not, it'll help parents keep on top of what's up with their kids.

Totally agree it's good for the school to be all over such things.
I'm dead lucky with the schools I've got my kids into.

Some bint just posted this on BookFace:

"Parking ticket for being 10 mins late what a joke this country makes me laugh"

Not only ludicrous as she was late so deserved it but done in one of those massive purple picture post things so I couldn't miss it. Not even someone I know.

One of my best friends friends. Livid.

Followed by some other random saying 'don't pay it robbing bswearword'

And her replying with:
"I don't intend to... I was not even 15 mins late back and I'd been I'm hairdressers can't be helped 100 quid or 60 if pay now jog on"

Hope she gets sent down for life.
