My wife tells me, reprovingly, that the dog bandana thing started as a charity thing and now it's a fashion thing. I'd like to have seen anyone trying to get a bandana on our old tom cat. He'd have had their arm off.

OK - so it's bad enough that there are an increasingly large number of safe motorists driving at least 10mph below whatever the speed limit is, and taking an age to get to that speed, but today I was behind one of them that came to a busy T junction wanting to turn right onto the main road. There were too lanes. As he/she approached the junction, at the last moment they veered left to sit astride both of them.
