Not a minor thing by any stretch but the amount of stabbings - a large proportion of which fatal - in London these last few weeks has been horrific. No respect and seemingly no concept for the value of human life.

I was working close to Crystal Palaces ground the other week, a lad was stabbed.
That area was a wake up call to a few of our operations team.
It was gang stuff and what happened next was equally eye opening.
The lad died outside one of our shops.
The whole gang turned up, walked in with masked faces etc and proceeded to steal all the flowers and place them in a shine outside the shop.
Manager says " what do I do here ? "
My mate says.. Take a bouquet out and place it down with theirs..

There is an excellent series on Channel 5 at the mo called - Inside Gangs.
Episode one ( last wk ) was based in London and was with the " youngers " - the teen members of the gangs.
Made the Croccy Crew and the like, look like choir boys - automatic weapons, machetes, etc
Frightening stuff.
Episode 2 on this tomorrow at 9pm.

Just watching it now..
Each and everyone of them was a proper psycho, with no apparent fear of the law, anyone or dying.
I suspect most of them won't live to see and old age.
