minor things that make you fume

They're great, mate. You get a projector too and you can just borrow a few laptops if a few of you want to use it. Also, you can only book 2 hours at a time for each room so get your mates to just book it out for a whole day. It gets quite competitive around exam times though!

The quiet zones are a joke, mate. You can get some peace and quiet in the silent study room on L1 though. Use the silent zone on the top floor, or better still, use the post grad zone on the opposite side. If any of the staff tell you off for being there then tell them they should be managing noise in the library better. They're frigging useless.

I had the same problem with Aldham, you're doing QS aren't you?

That room might come in handy next week, got a group project over the next two weeks with people I've never met before so that should be fun.

Yeah I'm doing QS just want to finish and get a job now.

I was like that. I want to be back at uni already lol

Also, I thought group work had been abolished at LJMU? Don't miss that one bit, although the lad I was in a pair with in 3rd year was really good to be fair.

They have abolished it on the QS course itself but we have to do a group project with CM's, civils, architects and a few others. It is supposed to get us ready with working with other professionals when we graduate.

Ahh, we did that in our first week last year and it was quite decent to be fair. Being a CM, I was nominated to be the manager of our group, which I enjoyed, although trying to keep architects under control was difficult. I exaggerated it slightly in a couple of interviews and it went down very well.

The architects will more than likely be doing their masters, and will want good grades from it so it can be fairly full on.

Make use of the group study rooms mate. Without them I wouldn't have got the grades I wanted. Also, the Aldham library is probably the quieter of the two.

I'll be the judge of my mindless rants thank you very much pal.
The LJMU Library.

Did i tell you about the main library in Liverpool? an arl fella on one of the computers was looking at pictures on google images of Jennifer Lopez bum.

Was amazing.

Walking along a busy street when someone decides to just stop dead and look at their phone or something so everyone walking behind then has to dodge people walking the opposite way

People that tailgate in peak hour as if it's their right to have a whole lane to themselves and everyone should move out of the way

People who try to get on the train while others are still getting off!
Same realm as this - when someone in the window seat wants to get out, so you have to get up (no problem with that bit) but then someone stood in the aisle won't budge, so the person leaving has to clamber out shoving past you, leaving you shoving the immovable prat.

This happened this morning. I was fuming.

Oncoming traffic that don't wait behind stationary cars on their side of the road and instead come on your side of the road nearly wiping you out in the process.

When players swap shirts at half time.

Really gets on my ner... HAHahahahahhahahhshAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHahahahahhahahhshAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA
