theres an insane amount of drivers who won't use an indicator unless they make eye contact with another driver, just assume there might be a cyclist, pedestrian, driver that would benefit from knowing if you are about to turn and flip an indicator, its not that hard and its the right thing to do

Also, people really need to learn to use roundabouts correctly.

Get in the correct lane, indicate when needed, and give way to the right. It's not hard people.

Conversely there are things which only go right when someone else is around - often computer tricks. You try it at home - doesn't work.
