minor things that make you fume

They're ok-ish if you have half an idea of where you want to go in general but not specifically. When it starts sending you round 3 sides of a square etc. you can decide to over rule it...which defeats the whole object really.

My main fume is the sat nav always starts talking at the same time as the missus does and I miss it, leading to
matri-moan-ial discord...(*ponders, looks over shoulder...or is it, I wonder, the otherway round)

Took my Mum for a hospital appointment on Wednesday. There were roadworks so used the sat nav to return home through an area I didn't know. Would my Mum stop talking? I missed two turnings as she wanted to tell me about all the furniture that she ordered.
My wife used a sat nav to take my daughter to Norwich for a University visit. A week later we received a ticket for using the bus lane with a photo of my wife's Hyundai i10. Apparently, she had driven around the whole of Norwich in a bus lane, oblivious to the fact that she was doing so.

Driving home down the A4. Busy road, no dual carriageway, nowhere to overtake. Was about 5th in a line of vehicles. Front vehicle was a transit van doing 30 mph. In the 10 mile stretch there were three speed limits 40, 50, 60. the transit van remained at 30 mph through all of them. Looked in my rear view mirror and the line of cars following stretched out of sight.
