minor things that make you fume

The term snowflake

I hate it. It is just a term used by people of little or no conscience to degrade people with a conscience.
Is ‘snowflame’ a thing? My 10 year old nephew referred to me as such in a WhatsApp message earlier on, including a frozen face emoji and a flame one. It’s either a new insult of which I’m unaware, or he’s got it wrong. I’m seeing him tomorrow so I need to know how best to ‘educate’ him (in a suitably avuncular fashion).

Usually driven by perma tanned, Klopp teethed, duck lipped, ladies whose fellas have no visible means of income, but lots of mobile phones on the go.
I’ve seen a disproportionate number of Range Rover drivers using mobile phones while driving. Hard to believe the motor doesn’t come equipped with Bluetooth for that price, leaving me to conclude that the drivers somehow think they’re above the law. Surely not...?

It absolutely is. Trump and his followers use it any time a liberal or decent person, criticise him or his policies for instance. It has moved to mainstream use by the right wing imo.

Or, they are driven by middle income people who can't afford them. They'll be on lease and the drivers are probably in thousands of credit card debt trying to maintain an illusion of visible wealth which will be shown also in their tacky as [Poor language removed] house.

In 5 years they might be driving around in a 10 year old Nissan Micra

This was ‘snowflame’ with an ‘m’. Googled it and it seems to be a minor Marvel comics character. Reasonably sure he’s meant to call me a snowflake (because I pulled him up on communicating entirely by emoji ).

People who put bags on seats of peak commuter trains. Then look at you with incredulity when you ask them to move it.

SERIOUSLY.
People who communicate on public transport.

The bag on the seat next to me is not an invitation to start a conversation, it is on the seat next to me because I don't want to sit next to anyone. If I did want to sit next to someone, I would have done so when I first boarded the vehicle.

Folks who in my mind at least, turned their backs on good old Blighty and headed for the good life on the Costas and such like.
When the going was good, only too happy to get in front of a tv camera saying it was the best thing they could have done and gobbing off that the UK was a cesspit compared to their present lifestyle.
When things go tits up and they want to come back to the cesspit, moaning about all sorts and things.
Should have thought long and hard beforehand about the potential for things going wrong.
