minor things that make you fume

The inconvenience of having to find a new barbers as the owner of the current barbers has stabbed someone with scissors, outside a gym... *sigh*
The barbers are a kin rip off where I live. All the 'cheap' barbers (up to about 13€ for a cut - excluding tip) literally take less than five minutes to give you a short back and sides. The lazy gets don't even bother to switch to scissors when giving the top a trim, just using their machine and a comb to whop way more off than you asked for.

If you want to go to a 'good' place when you're looking at around 25€, and obviously they're expecting a tip on top of that too. Oh, and a 1 minute hair wash will set you back between three and five quid. Ain't no way at all I am paying close to 30 quid for a short back and sides when I get it cut once a month.

This one fat Iranian guy who was in a place I frequented took the mick big time once by taking a phone call and continuing to cut my hair, with the bleedin' phone between his ear and his shoulder while he continued to snip away. Needless to say I didn't go back after that!

When I was in the Philippines recently I tried a little barber shop I spotted and it cost me less than ONE POUND for a 15 minute cut, fresh clean shave on my sideys and neckline, plus a two minute shoulder massage. And that was the best cut of my life from a guy who actually took pride in his work.

I have Bronchitis and can't smoke.

Woman in work has her annoying daughter (also our cleaner) in.

I have never wanted a cigarette and five minutes out of the room more badly.

I bought a Wahl hair trimmer and have a number two all over. Most of the time I do it myself before my wife tidied up the back and any bits I missed. One of the best investments I ever made.
