For the summer I have invested in a electronic tennis racquet bug zapper.

It's boss.

Stood there like Roger Federer in me front room forehanding them all over the gaff.
The crack it makes when you hit them is very satisfying indeed.

I'm in!!
Sandwich bar near my old work had such a thing in the kitchen. Didn't take much notice until it made that crack/ flash thing. I watched in awe as the fly disappeared into mini bits which all landed on the griddle she was cooking the bacon on! Never went back again!

Gearbox has just packed up on my useless Iveco work van. Managed to keep it rolling across the road into a lay-by just at the end of the runway at Norwich airport. Off on holiday tomorrow from this airport. What a hilarious coincidence. As I was on the phone to AA, a recovery truck pulled up behind me, and I’ve just had a text to say the recovery will be with me by 15:40. It’s the same company as the wagon that’s pulled in behind me. Another coincidence. How strange. Looks like I’m not getting home ‘til late, and I was gonna go get some Euros when I got back.

As I’m writing this, the recovery truck has just drove off. Dark times.

They treated me like I was Pablo Escobar.
