Just applied some cream on me leg cos it got a bit crappy. (Prescribed stuff).

Its made me flammable ffs!

Staying away from fires and flames seems to be good advice in any situation but particularly next Tuesday.

it's a right mess any ideas how to get it off the missus isn't amused

We got a new cooker soft rs me mistakenly put it on,there was a microfibre cloth on it stuck to the hot plate
it's a right mess any ideas how to get it off the missus isn't amused

Sorry to laugh. I would lay a wet dishcloth or towel over it and leave it for an hour or so. Allow the mess to soak up and soften a bit. Then it might come off if gently rubbed.
Hard to say without seeing the extent of the damage. I suppose the insurance might be worth a call.

That doesn't look too bad. Keep it moist though. If you're scraping off the substance make sure you're using a wooden or plastic edge - not metal.

I'd have some chocolates and flowers on hand too in case the operation leaves a stain! Hopefully, with use, the surface will recover and it shouldn't affect the functioning of the appliance anyway.
