Is it just when Everton fans do it?
Pretty much everyone from outside of Liverpool makes derogatory comments about scousers or the city.
People also do it about Newcastle, Glasgow, London, Birmingham, Bradford, Luton, Slough........the list could be endless.

Just heard (referring to comments a couple of pages back) that Washington DC are planning to pass legislation to make it illegal for stores to refuse to take cash..... surely its their choice to limit their business?

Stockholms like that. Spent 4 days there and didn't see a coin or note anywhere - even street kiosks and the like.

Worked really well though.

It should be illegal to refuse legal tender, took wife and grandson out for Sunday lunch ended up paying with card because they wouldn't take the note right pain in the arse.

not sure if its still the same haven't got one in years but busses in Liverpool wouldn't take notes higher than £10 so you were not clearing out all of their change, i got on once with a £20 to buy a £14 weekly pass and they refused to take it, this jobs worth clearly didn't understand why they didn't take them as he was having none of it and left me at the stop (was a 1 per hour bus too) absolute plum
