Is it? I thought they chop them off?
We are jibbing our vets, won't name them on here it's not fair but they've changed from a family run affair to a franchise, lost a load of boss nurses and replaced them with absolute robots.I think some vets still do, but must do the injection now. Much easier, less mess and very little pain. Took mine for a walk half an hour after getting it done
the vets in the grounds of fazak hospital are decent with my dog and the last one we had . Adams vets it's calledWe are jibbing our vets, won't name them on here it's not fair but they've changed from a family run affair to a franchise, lost a load of boss nurses and replaced them with absolute robots.
He hasn't been for 12 months but the last couple of experiences with them was unsavoury, trying to force us to buy products based on a hunch on diagnosis etc.
Any recommendations? L4 based but will travel for a boss vet.
Where me birds dad used to take all their dogs but I thought they moved to Wavertree, will have a look at them, ta lad.the vets in the grounds of fazak hospital are decent with my dog and the last one we had . Adams vets it's called

They were great when my old dog died in August . Came to the house to put him to sleep. Can't fault themWhere me birds dad used to take all their dogs but I thought they moved to Wavertree, will have a look at them, ta lad.
I had enough rows with them trying to push Royal Canin muck on me when I first got him, he's raw fed and that's it. They warned me I'd die of salmonella from feeding him raw meat but unfortunately for them my bird is a bit of a fiend for research and that and killed it dead as soon as their sales commission was mentioned.A good mates missus is a vet, the one man band vet practices are being put out of business by chain franchise vets - Pets at Home etc
They aren't regulated in the same way as say a GP. The vets in these places are salaried and also get commission from the drug companies for selling their products, hence why they tried to flog you loads of stuff that you didn't need.
I can recommend one by us in Woolton - Village Vets, in Quarry Street, the head vet ( Alan ) is a bit odd , but won't rip you and is spot on .
Sorry to hear about that kid, I don't know what I'd do when it's my lads time. They were great when my old dog died in August . Came to the house to put him to sleep. Can't fault them
It was gutting but he had a boss long life (14 years) it would of been unfair and cruel keeping him alive .Sorry to hear about that kid, I don't know what I'd do when it's my lads time.
My worry (I'm a pure panicker our lad is only 2) is that when we get another I won't love it like I do him. He's my first ever dog, my birds had dogs all her life.It was gutting but he had a boss long life (14 years) it would of been unfair and cruel keeping him alive .
The new one is boss though and thankfully a totally different character to the last one . I didn't want them to be similar so they don't get compared to each other .
You will . You can't not get attached to them . They rely on you.My worry (I'm a pure panicker our lad is only 2) is that when we get another I won't love it like I do him. He's my first ever dog, my birds had dogs all her life.
