Coming out of Tescos with the Mrs a couple of weeks back. At the exit was one of them British Gas salesmen. As we got close, I made the mistake of making eye contact. He stepped forward and said "Excuse me sir, how old is your boiler?" without breaking step I said "She was 61 last birthday mate"
To be fair he laughed. . . . . . . The Mrs however was fuming.

Doesn't matter how many manual checks you make; or from what supermarket/greengrocer's you get them from - a day later when you get to use the bleeders, there's always a chance that they'll be mushy on the inside...
