I take the fan guard off, only to find the bloody element is screwed in from the back. Ok, so I pull the oven out to find a completely sealed up unit, that'll take a good 20 screws to undo, and even then I'm not certain I'll be able to replace it.
Why do manufacturers have to do this? I appreciate it's a money money money world, but the way they lock you into grossly expensive repair jobs when we're perfectly capable of doing it ourselves if only they'd design their products in a way that allow it.
