I have no idea who you're on about, but the words 'reality Tv' make me agree that I'd like to punch them (And their fans) VERY hard in the snout, repeatedly.

I would have asked the question myself. Would also like to know what happens with the surcharge. Who benefits from it?

It is worded as though the law of the land is the victim when we know that couldn't be further from the truth.

Though Speeding is Speeding so they could call it Bellend Tax or Heavy Right Foot Tax I suppose.

It hadn't long been implemented IIRC. Definitely the first I'd heard of it. Thought it was just court costs which I wouldn't have been arsed about.

I mean, the beak was alright-ish, like. Not dead snooty or nowt. Just said I should be grateful I only paid the same in total as the £60 ticket, most probs down to me playing dumb and crying poverty.

AFAIK that 'surcharge' bollox is to pay for victim support volunteers and criminal injuries compo board.

Mate I got caught on one of them average speed check roads, 57 when the road is 60. Got a letter through the post saying coz its a works van ( they termed it a goods vehicle) I shouldn't exceed 50. What complete tripe , robbing shoites .
