Colleagues who don't put their out of office on when they're away.
I've been extremely lucky in that I've only ever worked for tiny companies. My first job had an office with about 5 people in it, the office politics were mind blowing. I've never seen such a gang of creeping, backstabbing weirdos.
The lot I knew would have sold their own mothers to get on in work. We did an exhibition once and the boss came with us and left the office to run itself. He came back to anarchy. They'd all decided to give themselves job titles, president, mayor, King etc, and even spent company money getting their own business cards printed. One of them had left after being hounded out by the others for questioning it.Is is like that here, but less backstabbing and more moaning (sure the word i mean would be flagged haha).
But yeah, its an odd place, nothing like it anywhere else. Certain people have got ahead based on who their parents are and others like me stuck as a result. Seems to work fine when you do as you are told but then even then it doesn't do your future aspirations much good to never question anything.
It is just too comfortable at times, think that is why so many people are still here. Who i work with, both of them probably could have moved up a fair bit in the past 10 years yet here they still are at the bottom of the ladder.
wow, nowhere near as bad here then! hahaThe lot I knew would have sold their own mothers to get on in work. We did an exhibition once and the boss came with us and left the office to run itself. It's not just offices though. I go in factories every day, it's like Lord of the flies on the shop floor in most places.

he probably just needed some change for the phone to order his crack .Drove up to visit to me mum at the weekend. After a few hours, walked to my car and realised I hadn't locked it. Both front doors were slightly open, and when I got in the car I noticed all my job sheets, receipts and other stuff, strewn all over the front seats. Some scrote had got in, ignored my tools, walking boots, berghaus coat and Barbour umbrella, and went straight for the cash.
This master criminal got away with the princely sum of 40p. I had two twenty pence pieces what I dropped in the drink holder.
Agree.
I have been warned about emails i have sent in the past as they were to people who get paid more than me. Little bit fustrating but tbh over the last year i haven't been as arsed and tend to fall more back into submissive employee who just does as he is told. Seems to make everyone happy at least.
I've been working a Heathrow the last few months, this is going to be an absolute ballache!!Heathrow expansion getting the go ahead.
I've no problem with the project, but the professional protesters will make at least two of my commutes per week an utter fume fest.
If the black lives matter do another one at the same time in the area it will kick off, I'm telling you.I've been working a Heathrow the last few months, this is going to be an absolute ballache!!
