I can understand taxi drivers, but everyone else?

First Utility threatening action over an alleged outstanding account. Been going on for 12 months since moving to our present house. We stayed with existing supplier so when we got their bill for nigh on £500 for a months gas and leccy we challenged it and eventually they accepted it was their error. The inept tossers now demanding full payment despite all the mistakes they have made.
What should be a major fume, now relegated to a minor one as I have had to resort to Ofgem. They can sort it.

I understand just pointing out some hidden costs like at the 70 K car you'd probably have to change the timing belt some time soon and while you're at it some other stuff. This is expensive.

Don't know how long you want to drive the thing but maybe in the midlong term it's cheaper to increase your budget a bit /borrow some money.

Lo and behold, the steering might be goosed. Hopefully it's just the battery. Might not be, though.

Maybe the steering is an easy fix like power steering fluid or aligning your wheels or such ? Just flip it when the costs > advantage.
