Leaving the house then getting to work and thinking things like:
Did I lock the front door?
Did I switch the iron off?
Did I leave that tap running?
Most annoying thing ever.
I think you did all 3 mate.

99% of them are blag, you can spot them a mile off as well.
Mine is with locking the door. I can remember locking it, im 99% sure, but that 1% nags and nags you until you get home.Even worse is when you think 'oh Christ I left the iron on!' then instantly remember that you didn't, but that plummeting feeling in your stomach just won't go away.
There is about a 6m wide central reservation that is the worksite and not a soul is there.
I haven't moved since I posted that last post.
They put the average speed down to 50mph, too.
If no one is there, then it should be 70mph.

Do something memorable like knocking the door knocker, or putting something in your pocket, or just say something out loud. It's being able to remember what you did directly afterwards that helps more than trying to remember the act itself.Mine is with locking the door. It's getting to the point where I go 10 paces out my door and go back and check out of habit. This is also me. Mrs ij think i'm slightly mental. I know i'm insanely OCD. And somehow can't claim benefits for it.
i do. I turn the door handle and push and pull to check it's locked. Helped at first.Do something memorable like knocking the door knocker, or putting something in your pocket, or just say something out loud. YoHi Yorkie
Can you send me some pics when you finish work
Ah, but that's still part of the door locking process. Do something else afterwards, so you can recall the sequence of events rather than just pulling the door, which you do every day. So when we go away for the weekend, I'll do something daft like slap the hanging basket and throw a stone at the garden gate, anything to twig my memory that I did those things directly after locking the door! It's getting to the point where I go 10 paces out my door and go back and check out of habit.

Not a lot makes me fume
But I just ordered some flowers for the wife as she's had a pretty rough time at work this week, but why exactly are flowers so expensive? I'm all taken a back.
I'm going to stick my neck out here and say the outside of flowers has nothing to do with their provenance, and everything to do with them being a mandatory gift for women that they can royally sting you for.Taking a guess, I'd say that because a lot of them are imported from Holland ?.
The only reason I know this, is because there's a florist by us, that always has Dutch lorries parked outside, dropping flowers off
