It's just a hard drive so not big and cost 38 altogether for 1 tb which seems to be good value as 2 tb massively inflates the price beyond that. Just need it for the xbox as I can't actually install all my games at the same time!

Currently on a short break in France. B&B off homeaway.com. Nice place, but when we arrived the water was off and remained off for over 2 hours. No apology from the owner. Since then the power has also gone off twice. And the DVD player doesn't work. And there's a shocking lack of basic stuff - There are no mugs, for example (except me, it would seem).

Now, we're expected to stump up an additional 30 euros for cleaning when we leave tomorrow, which the missus is adamant we don't pay. So now I have to relish a stand-off with the owner tomorrow or face being considered a wimp by the wife! Great times.

I've stayed in places in the Uk, which sound similar - description didn't match the reality. It's a tough one, as any form of complaint will lead to confrontation. Are there any other guests there - strength in numbers etc ?
