Like, being fake and sucking up to management etc - drives me mad, and also I can't stand the people who fall for it.

Was just at a parents evening with my eldest at his school.
Was waiting for our slot to speak to his maths teacher. ( who was proper fit btw. My teachers didn't look like that, but that's another thread entirely ).

The man sat talking to the teacher with his child, his mobile went. He immediately stood up, walked a few strides away, had a jarg little chat about nothing important, then sat back down and continued talking to the teacher.

I mean, how bloody rude.

What's even worse, is when that happens and they put their hand up as if to say " don't talk to me, I'm on the phone ".

Last time somebody did that to me, I just walked away from them.

It's more than rude, it's ignorant and insulting .

When did ordinary people become "super" at things ? I get tired, sometimes I get very tired; I find that if someone puts the word "very" in front of their current status that is sufficient to convey the meaning. E.g. very busy, very hungry. You are not super busy or super hungry, you are very busy or very hungry.
Can't be doing with this nonsense.

Saw a huge queue Saturday morning waiting for taxis and looking extremely cold, hope they enjoyed the match as much.
